Iowa basketball achieved a dominant 94-75 win against Utah State, propelled by a career best game by Keegan Murray.

Keegan Murray had a career best scoring night of 35 points on the game, which led Iowa's scorers.

"The potential of this team is that we have multiple guys who can be effective, and some of them in different ways," coach Fran McCaffery told Hawkeye Sports after the game.

A sell out crowd of 3,250 fans attended the game, according to Hawk Central. Following the win, Iowa's record was 8-3, heading into their following contest versus Southeastern Louisiana. The game was played at a neutral site at the Sanford Pentagon, but Iowa fans made up the overwhelming majority of the crowd.

Iowa played one of their most complete games of the season in this game, in particular Murray, who only scored 9 points in his prior contest, before going off for 35 points against Utah State. The 9-point game was a season low for him, before he bettered it with his career high.

Out of Murray 35 points, 25 came in the first half as Iowa dominated the game early for an easy victory. He shot 13 for 17 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free throw line for an impressive shooting night. Other Iowa players chipped in as well, making it a total team effort. Kris Murray scored 17 points, Patrick McCaffery added 12 and Jordan Bohannon scored 11 points.
