DPA Auctions and the Iowa Soybean Association announced on Apr. 15 a new partnership under the ISA Partners+ Program, aiming to provide preferred pricing and services for soybean farmers buying and selling equipment.
The partnership is designed to help soybean farmers manage input costs by offering them exclusive benefits when using DPA Auctions’ platform. This move is part of broader efforts by the Iowa Soybean Association to support its members with programs that increase demand, conduct research, and deliver information to farmers, according to the official website.
ISA farmer members will now receive free equipment appraisals and a fifty percent discount on DPA’s standard seller fees for equipment sales. Additionally, a Full Farm Equipment Manager tool will soon be available through the program. “We know the importance of addressing the issue of input prices, and that includes sourcing quality equipment and machinery,” said Justin Scheel, chief marketing officer at DPA Auctions. Scheel also said, “The innovative product will enable farmers to track the value of their equipment all in one place. They’ll also have access to real-time valuations and recommendations on when to hold and when it might be time to sell.”
Founded in 1972, DPA Auctions provides an online auction experience for agricultural producers both in Iowa and nationally. Its Live Auction Board simulates an on-site auction with features such as dynamic clocks and bidding extensions accessible from computers or mobile devices.
Scheel said, “Today we offer a seamless and simple process to selling heavy machinery in the agricultural, construction, and transportation industries.” He added that millions visit their website each month: “With millions of website visits per month and an unlimited number of satisfied buyers and sellers, DPA continues to be the most simple and successful option for business owners to buy and sell their equipment. We look forward to working with ISA to bring our services at a preferred price.”
Launched last year, ISA’s Partners+ Program collaborates with agricultural companies providing essential products or services while offering discounts or rebates exclusively for ISA farmer members.
The Iowa Soybean Association serves nearly 37,000 soybean producers across Iowa per its official website. The association also promotes community engagement through initiatives like CommonGround Iowa as outlined online.
As Iowa’s Qualified State Soybean Board according to its official site, ISA uses checkoff funds for programs supporting market development, research initiatives—including annual leadership awards—and policy advocacy as reported by ISA.
