Grassley meets with Grow Cedar Valley leaders in Washington

Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa met with representatives from Grow Cedar Valley during their annual visit to Washington, D.C. The discussions focused on transportation, economic and educational development, as well as workforce opportunities in Northeast Iowa.

“I had a great meeting with Grow Cedar Valley, where we discussed the issues impacting Northeast Iowa,” Grassley said. “It’s important I hear directly from Iowans so I can represent their views at the policymaking tables in Washington. I appreciate Grow Cedar Valley coming to Washington to advocate on behalf of their local community, and we will keep working together to help Cedar Valley continue to grow and thrive.”

Grow Cedar Valley is an organization that advocates for community interests related to economic growth and development in the Cedar Valley region. The group meets regularly with federal lawmakers during trips to Washington to share concerns and priorities.
