Iowa DOT seeks public input on U.S. 169 bridge replacement in Webster County

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced on April 9 that it is seeking public feedback regarding a proposed bridge replacement on U.S. 169 over Bass Creek, located 0.6 mile south of County Road C-56 in Webster County.

According to the announcement, the project involves replacing the existing bridge with a culvert, with construction scheduled to take place in 2028. During construction, U.S. 169 will be closed and traffic will be detoured along County Road D-14, Iowa 413, and County Road C-56.

The department invites community members to learn about the project and provide feedback by April 20. Those wishing to comment must provide their name and email address before submitting input.
