NEW Cooperative announced on Apr. 24 the launch of SOILMAP Grower Connection, a service providing real-time text updates to keep farmers informed about equipment movements in their fields.
The new feature allows users to receive instant notifications when equipment is arriving or leaving, aiming to remove uncertainty from field operations. To participate, growers can opt in by texting “YES” to 515-417-2904.
NEW Cooperative operates as a farmer-owned cooperative and serves more than 12,000 farmer-owners at 83 locations across Iowa, according to the official website. The organization features an extensive network of grain elevators, feed mills, and agronomy facilities throughout the state. It focuses on increasing farmers’ purchasing power, market access, and productivity through collaborative efforts.
The cooperative returns patronage to its members each year and invests millions into local communities according to its official website. These investments are made both directly and through the NEW Cooperative Foundation, which supports youth programs, education initiatives, human services projects, and civic causes across rural Iowa.
According to the official website, NEW Cooperative provides services such as grain marketing and agronomy solutions while supporting community development across Iowa.
