Cedar Rapids home prices rise in June 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2019 in Cedar Rapids rose by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 19.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2019, there were 285 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,500 - a 2.5% increase over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 355 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in June 2018.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,557, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for June 2019.
