Fairfax home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Fairfax fell by $12,050 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $202,450 - a 5.6% decrease over the $214,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Fairfax in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
