Marion home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Marion rose by $29,800 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 77 homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,000 - a 19.5% increase over the $153,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Marion in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
