Mount Vernon home prices rise in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Mount Vernon rose by $11,000 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $186,000 - a 6.3% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Mount Vernon in March 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Mount Vernon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,654, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
