Fairfax home prices rise in March 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Fairfax rose by $43,250 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $282,500 - a 18.1% increase over the $239,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Fairfax in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
