Dallas Center home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Dallas Center fell by $75,330 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $123,000 - a 38% decrease over the $198,330 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Dallas Center in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Dallas Center for 2017 was $2,653. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,292. This marks an increase of 15.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
