Perry home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Perry rose by $9,800 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,250 - a 19% increase over the $51,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Perry in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Perry for 2017 was $1,519. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,423. This marks an increase of 6.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
