Central City home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Central City fell by $92,550 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $62,450 - a 59.7% decrease over the $155,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Central City in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Central City for 2017 was $2,207. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,205. This marks an increase of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
