Center Point home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Center Point fell by $42,500 while total sales decreased by 77.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $98,000 - a 30.2% decrease over the $140,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Center Point in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Center Point for 2017 was $3,019. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,923. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.1%.
