Long Grove home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Long Grove rose by $42,600 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $282,500 - a 17.8% increase over the $239,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Long Grove in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Long Grove for 2017 was $3,700. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,363. This marks an increase of 10%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
