Long Grove home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Long Grove rose by $24,994 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,500 - a 10.5% increase over the $238,507 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Long Grove in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Long Grove for 2017 was $3,700. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,363. This marks an increase of 10%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
