Walcott home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Walcott rose by $10,300 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,000 - a 6% increase over the $172,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Walcott in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Walcott for 2017 was $2,261. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,368. This marks an decrease of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
