Princeton home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Princeton fell by $46,875 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $192,000 - a 19.6% decrease over the $238,875 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Princeton in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Princeton for 2017 was $2,620. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,598. This marks an increase of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
