Mount Vernon home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Mount Vernon fell by $32,750 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $178,750 - a 15.5% decrease over the $211,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Mount Vernon in the fourth quarter of 2017.
