Van Meter home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Van Meter rose by $62,450 while total sales decreased by 39.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $174,900 - a 55.5% increase over the $112,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Van Meter in the fourth quarter of 2017.
