Dexter home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Dexter fell by $66,500 while total sales decreased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $30,000 - a 68.9% decrease over the $96,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Dexter in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Dexter for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,374, approximately 4.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
