Van Meter home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Van Meter rose by $91,500 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 133.6% increase over the $68,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Van Meter in the second quarter of 2017.
