Perry home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Perry fell by $30,000 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,000 - a 35.3% decrease over the $85,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Perry in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Perry for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,519, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
