Eldridge home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Eldridge fell by $14,250 while total sales decreased by 47.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,000 - a 5.3% decrease over the $269,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Eldridge in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Eldridge for 2017 was $3,404. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,072. This marks an increase of 10.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
