Dexter home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Dexter rose by $37,625 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,000 - a 49.9% increase over the $75,375 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Dexter in the second half of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Dexter for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,374, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
