De Soto home prices fall in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in De Soto fell by $33,000 while total sales increased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,000 - a 18.3% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in De Soto in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
