De Soto home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in De Soto rose by $8,100 while total sales decreased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $176,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $167,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in De Soto in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
