JCHS's Pioneer Day is updated to the Fall Fun Fest! But with the demonstrations, programs, fun, food, and games you know and enjoy. We return with a CHALK ART CONTEST with prizes for children, youth, and adults. SPECIAL THIS YEAR: TRIBUTE TO GLEN "RED" HENTON starting at 10 AM Schedule: 10 am - Tribute to Red Henton 10 am - Begin creating Chalk Art ALL DAY FOOD STAND: maid rites, pulled pork, hot dogs, tacos in a bag, soups, drinks, sweets 11 am - Ceremony with the VFW's giant U.S. flag 1 pm = FEATURED SPEAKER: Kevin Braafladt, Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal - “The Battle of The Bulge, World War II” 3 pm - Chalk Art Judging 3:30 pm - U.S. flag retirement ceremony
