Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 16
Ghosts and goblins will have a chance to haunt downtown Burlington on Friday, October 25. Downtown Trick or Treat will be from 4 to 6 PM, with treats available at dozens of participating merchants. As a special feature this year, the public will also be able to tour the State Historical Museum of Iowa’s “Iowa History 101” mobile museum for free at Third and Jefferson.
For the safety of the increasing number of participants, Jefferson St. will be closed to traffic and parking during Downtown Trick or Treat. Call Downtown Partners at 319-752-6365 for more information.
Downtown Partners, a Main Street Iowa program, is a division of the Greater Burlington Partnership. The mission of Downtown Partners is to preserve and revitalize downtown Burlington by enhancing its economy, infrastructure, and historical and cultural features.
