Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 29
Area businesses, schools, churches and organizations are encouraged to participate in Downtown Partners’ annual Lighted Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 30. This year’s theme is “Jingle on Jefferson.” Cash prizes are awarded to the top three entries. Parade entry forms can be downloaded on the Downtown Events section of the Greater Burlington Partnership website, www.greaterburlington.com, or call Downtown Partners at 319-752-6365.
The Lighted Holiday Parade is presented by Downtown Partners, Inc., a division of the Greater Burlington Partnership and a Main Street Iowa organization. The mission of Downtown Partners is to preserve and revitalize downtown Burlington by enhancing its economy, infrastructure, and historical and cultural features.
