University of Northern Iowa recently issued the following announcement.

This year the University of Iowa Veterans Association will again be teaming up with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Veterans Organization to ruck march the game ball from Kinnick Stadum to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, for the November 29th football game. Ruckers will be carrying 22 lbs or 22 items to honor the 22 Veterans who take their own lives every day. 22 will be made up of personal belongings which hold significant meaning to their personal military experience or which honors the service of friends or family. Iowa’s part of the leg will take place November 20 -24.
