Carlisle home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Carlisle rose by $44,500 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $94,500 - a 89% increase over the $50,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Carlisle in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Carlisle for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,752, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
