Central City home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Central City rose by $13,045 while total sales increased by 4.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $144,445 - a 9.9% increase over the $131,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Central City in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
