Buffalo home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Buffalo rose by $57,260 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,500 - a 116.3% increase over the $49,240 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Buffalo in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Buffalo for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,594, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
