Iowa City home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Iowa City rose by $60,000 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $420,000 - a 16.7% increase over the $360,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Iowa City in the third quarter of 2018.
