Marion home prices rise in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Marion rose by $750 while total sales increased by 16.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $163,250 - a 0.5% increase over the $162,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Marion in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
