Marion home prices rise in November 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in Marion rose by $4,600 while total sales decreased by 6.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were 76 homes sold, with a median sale price of $174,500 - a 2.7% increase over the $169,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Marion in November 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for November 2019.
