Marion home prices rise in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Marion rose by $32,950 while total sales decreased by 37.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,900 - a 21.8% increase over the $150,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Marion in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
