Cedar Rapids home prices fall in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in Cedar Rapids fell by $3,000 while total sales increased by 2.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 218 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,000 - a 2.1% decrease over the $140,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 213 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in September 2018.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,557, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for September 2019.
