Marion home prices fall in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Marion fell by $17,800 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 88 homes sold, with a median sale price of $164,750 - a 9.8% decrease over the $182,550 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 110 homes sold in Marion in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
