Cedar Rapids home prices rise in March 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $10,750 while total sales decreased by 0.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2020, there were 179 homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,500 - a 7.9% increase over the $135,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 180 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in March 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for March 2020.
