Mount Vernon home prices fall in March 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2020 in Mount Vernon fell by $9,500 while total sales increased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2020, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,500 - a 5.1% decrease over the $187,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Mount Vernon in March 2019.

The median sales tax in Mount Vernon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,654, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for March 2020.
