Marion home prices rise in March 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2020 in Marion rose by $39,500 while total sales decreased by 9.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2020, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $207,500 - a 23.5% increase over the $168,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 61 homes sold in Marion in March 2019.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,258, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for March 2020.
