Central City home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Central City rose by $81,900 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $144,750 - a 130.3% increase over the $62,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Central City in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
