Cedar Rapids home prices rise in April 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $8,000 while total sales decreased by 34.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2020, there were 152 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $145,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 231 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in April 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for April 2020.
