Marion home prices rise in April 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2020 in Marion rose by $3,000 while total sales decreased by 64.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2020, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,500 - a 1.7% increase over the $180,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Marion in April 2019.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,258, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for April 2020.
