Hills home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Hills fell by $6,500 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $163,000 - a 3.8% decrease over the $169,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Hills in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Hills for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,194, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
