Buffalo home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Buffalo rose by $60,192 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $119,943 - a 100.7% increase over the $59,751 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Buffalo in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Buffalo for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,594, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
