Cedar Rapids home prices rise in June 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 39.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2020, there were 199 homes sold, with a median sale price of $149,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $145,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 331 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in June 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for June 2020.
