Marion home prices rise in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Marion rose by $30,550 while total sales decreased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 76 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,300 - a 18.5% increase over the $164,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Marion in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,258, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
